Steps on how to successfully finding a Sponsor
Creating a sponsorship packet, you should include insightful information about FIRST and your team. We suggest you look at the FIRST Official Sponsor Packet Template, it's a great tool as we used it to create our own sponsorship packet. Some important info to cover, what is FIRST and your program(s), team info, and sponsorship benefits.
Personalized information you could add to this could include, team history, notable outreach projects, team missions or goals, additional contact info, and a team statement. *note that you are sending these documents out to professional individuals so you want them to have nice grammar and correct spelling.
You should also give a brief statement or table of about what the money is going to i.e. registration, materials, and an overall estimate of how much it cost to run a robotics team.
Having sponsorship levels makes it easy to understand all the different benefits that come with each level and shows how we can assist their organization/company with publicity. With our team, we provide perks like adding company logos to our robot side-plates and onto our team shirts.
This section lists templates Assets Robotics uses to contact potential sponsors. If you are an Assets Robotics student, follow the instructions and work with your team manager or coach directly. Do not send any emails out yourself without Mr. Han's approval.
