Assets School

Assets School is a co-educational, independent K-12 school in Honolulu County, Hawaii. The school focuses on educating students who are gifted and/or dyslexic. Open in 1955, Assets School is where our members are based in, and what a school should be

  • A place where every child learns differently and those differences are celebrated,

  • A place where personalized learning is a reality, not a slogan, where a strength-based curriculum brings out a child’s natural curiosity and interest in learning,

  • A place where students with great minds who think differently find joy, belonging, and develop their talents to benefit society in previously unimagined ways,

  • A place where students are accepted and affirmed, both as learners and individuals, where the whole student matters — academic, social, and emotional development are valued equally.

In a surprise announcement made during the robot presentation and demonstration at The Queen’s Medical Center, Dr. Jill Green, President and Chief Executive Officer of The Queen’s Health System, presented the robotics students and their teacher with a Sponsor donation on behalf of Queen’s to go towards the school’s robotics program.
