Metal Engineering Assets Flamingos

Team MEAF is an FTC robotics team based at Assets High School in Honolulu, Hawaii. Our team name is an acronym for “Metal Engineering Assets Flamingos.”

We are a team of dedicated, hardworking students aged 15-18 seeking success by going above and beyond through the means of STEM and teamwork.

We were founded in 2020 during the peak of the pandemic and were the younger team within our school. Despite these challenges, we had very successful FTC seasons, being highly ranked at the end of each season.

When Team MEAF was first created, we were all rookies eager to learn. Having no experience in robotics at all, we learned the basics in no time and were on our way to a bright future.

We strive to inspire ourselves and the younger generation to get into STEM as a possible career path. We believe that STEM is an important part of our world and that the next generation will help everyone live better lives.

For our future, we hope to keep placing high and be one of the teams that can be an inspiration to others.
